Winter warmer giveaway

Hello Dear Reader,

I'm wearing my latest money saver! My jumpers have served me well but eventually they needed replacing. You know my thoughts on money spending. If I need it, if it's good value, if it's good quality and if I can afford it, then I will buy it. This fleece is from Bonmarche. I needed something warm that would wash easily, dry quickly on the line or hanging up indoors. It goes with my jeans, it's smart enough to wear out and about and it soft and cuddly to wear around the house with my pyjamas. A good fleece or jumper will save you money ten times over what you paid for it because you can reach for that before turning on the heating. I'm barefoot because it's cool but not cold but as the weather cools, I will resort to fluffy socks and slippers. Unlike my previous jumpers, this fleece is really lightweight so I don't feel bundled up in it. It is comfortable enough and stylish enough to wear anywhere.

If you'd like to try some of Bonmarche's fleeces or just have something to add to your winter wardrobe, I have a £50 voucher (given specifically and only for the Dear Readers) which you can spend online or in a store. I visited their store to review their customer service and I can assure you they were really helpful. I found that so many shops have given up on women of my age and I neither want to look like a teenager or granny and I found plenty of clothes that I really liked. It fits the remit: affordable, sells what I need and good quality.

To take part in the draw you will need to tweet (see the link below) - it's simply a 't' and then tweet

#FrugalBonmarche

I will track back through all the tweets with that hashtag and select a name with 'twitter draw' and the winner will be selected on Friday evening. The more you tweet and retweet, the more chances you have of winning the voucher. You could wrap up warm for the winter or use the voucher to get some early Christmas shopping done.

I'm loving being warm and wrapped up and to be honest, I'm quite looking forward to some cooler and more seasonal weather and I'm certainly dressed for it. Bonmarche sent me the fleece to review but I genuinely love it and that's my own opinion. Don't forget tweet #FrugalBonmarche to enter to win a £50 voucher. Don't worry if you are out of the UK - they ship worldwide!

Until tomorrow,

Love Froogs

  1. Do you have a twitter account? FrugalQueen belongs to someone in Oklahoma, so I asumed it wasn't you. I was trying to link the #FrugalBonmarche to your twitter account. As it is, I've tweeted it on its own .............is that right?

  11. I have been wearing Bon Marche clothes for years, they fit me and there is plenty of choice, good quailty too. I am still wearing trousers I bought at least 7 years ago....ok they are now work trousers but I can and do wear them for quick trips to town etc.

M & S would do well to take a leaf out of their book.

Last year £100 spent in BM bought me 3 pairs of trousers, 3 tops 6 pairs of sloggi knickers and a jumper

  12. I don't have an internet-enabled phone, so can't enter BUT you have encouraged me to have a look in Bonmarche for some warm winter clothing. I love that shop, but only go once in a while; charity shops are my main destinations, especially the ones in Tavistock ;) A nice selection of good clothes. Will you still be local to Liskeard when you move to your cottage? Can't wait to see it!

  13. I really don't know how I managed before I had a fleece - it would be very hard to go back to jumpers now. Good for all the reasons you said and great for out walking as it's light enough to tie around waist if I get too warm. Also sheds water if only a light shower.

  14. That fleece so looks so lovely and warm! :) It's certainly starting to turn colder - I could do with a new fleece.

  16. oooh - overdue a 'mad trying on session' in Bonmarche with my friend - will definitely have to try their fleeces. I got a couple of dresses there last year that I wear lots and they wash up like new each time - so works out very economical. (I usually tend to try stuff on and then keep my eye on the sales/charity shops/ebay but with Bonmarche I find the prices are within my budget. I have tweeted as @essexgal65 - if I've done it right that is!
