Giveaway and competition

a Rafflecopter giveaway//widget.rafflecopter.com/load.js

Hello Dear Reader,

I promised that I would dig around and find more to add to the giveaway. The prize is a large box of pre cut fabric in squares and various shapes. There are also lots of thread. Here’s what I’ve added today.

A Christmas wall hanging, I’ve already spray basted it and it’s backed. You just have to quilt it and edge it. Add something to hang it with and it’s good to go.

Here’s a close up.

I’ve also added some quilt wadding - probably enough for a lap quilt or a cot quilt. It’s enough to practise with or at the very least have some fun with.

I’ve also added some random pre-cut strips.

Please make sure you read the T&Cs and make sure you enter in the Rafflecopter.

T&Cs - sorry about this but it’s all in the name of fairness.

1. You will need to be a follower or become one to enter (you will need a google account for this)
2. You will also need to leave a comment and enter your name in the Rafflecopter.
3. When I click on your name, your blog list should show that you follow Frugal Queen.
4. The draw will take place at 6pm GMT Sunday 20th July.
5. You will need to email me with your name and address within 24 hours or I will give this away to a randomly selected commenter. If you are the winner and I haven’t heard from you by 6pm Monday 21st July, then the giveaway goes to someone else.
6. UK only due to postage. Sorry xxxx
7. Please make sure you have read all the blog today to understand the prize.

This prize will keep getting bigger so come back again to see what I’ve added.

I’ve had a great day today and as usual, over to you Dear Reader. What’s made your day great today?

Until tomorrow,

Love Froogs xxxx

  1. Wow, it just keeps getting better. Thanks Froogs. Today I went swimming - not very earth shattering but I am not a great swimmer and I don't like it much, but I know it is very good exercise and kind on the joints. We both went and we did 6 lengths of the pool, and we enjoyed it. We are going to try and go twice a week if possible and build up our stamina, and hopefully decrease the chronic pain I am in.

  2. Hello! My sister who lives far away called and made my day. I too love the caravan/trailer idea. I have been saving every spare penny for one. I think they are even more affordable here in the U SA. I'm also looking for a van to be our next new car, so it can pull a trailer and be extra storage space for long trips to Alaska.
All my eBay sales are going into the trailer fund.

  3. I've been going to the gym two or three times a week for nearly two months. Yesterday I was able to jog 320 metres of my 2.3k stint on the treadmill, the first time I've been capable of this since probably 20 years ago. It's immensely boring but I can see I'm getting fitter, and I read my kindle while I'm walking (not when jogging!). It was a good achievement.

  4. Your giveaway just keeps getting better…such a generous lady!

We had some fun with toddler activities…painting and crafting then played outside in the afternoon, followed by a frugal tea xx

  5. What made my day great? Well I have recently lost a stone and am feeling much more energetic, so I was able to do a full days work, then up to the allotment for a couple of hours, and then back home to craft for the local hospice (we 'upcycle' clothes that can't be sold into lap quilts, picnic throws etc then sell them at vintage fairs). I can't believe that losing only a stone can give me that oomph! I'm feeling good about losing the next two now!

  6. Hi, thats a great giveaway and if lucky enough to win it would spur me on to start quilting which is on my 'to do' list this year as my mum gave me one of her sewing machines but don't have the cutting gear yet, as it's a 'want' not a 'need'' which is all I'm allowing myself till my debt is cleared which should be 30th sept (thats my mantra that keeps me focused! Lol). Good luck everyone and thanks froogs for such a fab giveaway :-)) xx

  7. Lovely wall hanging, Froogs. I did one similar to this this last Christmas (it had advent pockets) for one of my sons. It was a kit I bought from Alexandra Palace last summer at the Knitting and stitching show..whilst visiting my other son in London. It would be nice to make one for the other son. Thank you for the chance to entre

  8. What made my day great was - there was a little house martin sat on my roof with it's head under its wing, I was getting concerned but he was obviously just 'having a minute' because he flew off 🙂

  9. Pleased to be able to keep to our diet today! My other half has got us started on the Harcombe Diet, so we are on the first 5 days, which is very hard and pretty strict. can't wait to get to Phase 2 and have a slice of toast and marmalade again - I really miss it! What a fantabulous offer you are making Froogs. I will put my entry in. As I have only been quilting for a couple of years, your give away would be a most wonderful chance to add to my stash and make a fabulous wall hanging for my youngest grandchildren. I will enter straight away. Ann x
