  4. I want to thank you for the advice you give about dividing the available spending money into 5 parts, saving one part, and using the other 4 parts. I only had £75 - so £15 a week for spending - and £15 set aside for savings. Because I knew how much I had EXACTLY I am amazed at what I have managed to buy with it! I didn't spend any of my 'spending' money last week, so this week I was able to buy a concertina file to re-organise all my paperwork! And because it was last week's allowance, I still have enough money to go to the cinema on Sunday evening :D I've never managed to have any spending money before - it all used to go on food! I've ring-fenced my food budget and my spending budget - and been able to manage both really well. This is a great start for me. Thanks
