Hi, I love watching your quilting videos as they are very helpful to a reasonably new quilter like myself!
ReplyDeleteI regularly follow your blog and find it really inspirational!
Best wishes Theresa
You are so inspiring in lots of ways but now once and for all you have inspired me to have a go at quilting ,This weekend i am going to watch your instruction tutorials and start using up the stash of fabric i have xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Froogs I am really inspired by your tutorial, I have been cutting up squares all night, can you tell me where you buy your wadding from, I have seen it on ebay and amazon, just want the best deal, and how many medium size sofa throws I could roughly get from a bag, and also what oz wadding do you recommend. I don't want this to be a expensive new hobby, I got a bag of fabric for 20p at the carboot and have been buying pillowcases from the charity shops, thanks for your help.
ReplyDeleteI buy mine from the local craft shop in Liskeard, however you can buy Hobbs batting from Ebay
DeleteHi again Froogs, I am well into making my first quilt thanks to your wonderful tutorials, the only problem is I am spending to much time cutting squares, I did buy a rotary cutter and template, but the cutter was rubbish, so went back to using scissors, can I ask what cutter you use, thankyou.
DeleteI have found some lovely double quilts at charity shops for 4quid, you can't buy new fabric for anything like that
ReplyDeleteThese videos are so useful, thank you. I sew my own clothes but have never tried quilting so this is giving me a great idea on how to start. Please can you tell me the name of the adhesive spray you use? Many thanks
ReplyDeleteI think we are raiding the same charity shops ... I might bump into you one day! Just found your blog, it's a great read x
